    10 Years, No Justice

    By: Bridget Robson

Gates, NY- Brittanee Drexel was a 17-year-old junior from Gates-Chili, NY who wanted to go on spring break to Myrtle Beach, SC. Getting away from classes, the cold, and the snow  was something any high school student looked forward to. Although her parents turned down her plans, that didn’t stop Brittanee and her friends from sneaking down to Myrtle Beach.

    She never returned home.

Her sister Myrissa Drexel, who was 11-years-old at the time, reflects on what she remembers from when she went missing.

01-brittanee-drexel-story-620x415Nearly 10 years later, there still is no exact explanation as to how Brittanee Drexel disappeared. In tribute to her daughter, Brittanee’s mother founded “Brittanee’s Little Angels”, which is a non-profit organization that supports families with missing people, and human trafficking victims. Through helping other families who are going through the same horrific events, it can help her to cope with the disappearance of her daughter Brittanee.
